We at Hunter Farm are thrilled to be producing organic lamb. These lambs have been grown on chemical free soils and pastures on our 1200 acre property at Tuapeka West, where we farm both sheep and beef, 17 km from Lawrence, in South Otago.

We, (Graham and Pam) purchased this beautiful property in 1997 moving here with our four children. This farm has the mighty Clutha River as part of its boundary and looks into the Blue Mountains.

Four years ago we began the journey of farming this property organically. That means we use limited or no chemical inputs and endeavour to farm in a sustainable manner with great emphasis on caring for the soil. In order to do this we have undergone a steep learning curve and have meet many interesting and supportive people embarking on the same journey with the philosophy that healthy soils and plants produces healthy animals and people.
